• Meter address (for portal users of MeterInsight).

Our website and/or services are not intended to collect data about visitors under the age of 16 unless they have parental or guardian consent. We cannot, however, verify the age of website visitors. We encourage parents to be involved in their children’s online activities to prevent data collection without parental consent. Systems Where Data Is Stored
MeterInsight stores data in various systems and applications from external suppliers, each with its own privacy policies and security measures, including:

MeterInsight exercises the utmost care when using these tools and storing data. However, we cannot guarantee the policies these providers maintain regarding the protection of (personal) data.
Additional Storage
In addition to the applications mentioned above, MeterInsight also stores data through or in communication channels used in consultation with clients, suppliers, employees, and other relations, such as:

• Phones (Android): Privacy policy.
Data is also stored via the Azure Cloud. MeterInsight takes the utmost care in using these tools and storing data but cannot guarantee the policies of these providers regarding data protection.
Retention Periods
We do not retain your personal data longer than necessary to achieve the purposes stated in this privacy and cookie statement. This means data is stored only as long as necessary, such as for government reporting (7 years for fiscal data) and/or as long as you have granted consent. We retain name/email data as long as newsletters are provided, unless you unsubscribe. Personal data is deleted from our platform within three months after the termination of the service. If no legal or governmental storage obligations exist, and you object, MeterInsight acknowledges your rights as outlined below.
Confidentiality & Disclosure to Third Parties
We treat your personal data with confidentiality. We do not provide the personal data we collect to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We will only share your data with other parties if you have given prior consent, if it is necessary for the execution of an agreement, or if we are required to do so by law or agreement. MeterInsight has data processing agreements in place with third parties processing data obtained through MeterInsight.

The MeterInsight website is equipped with an SSL certificate to ensure your data is securely (encrypted) transmitted via the website. We implement stringent security procedures to protect processed data and prevent unauthorized access. Access to your data is limited to necessary personnel, and access to your personal data is restricted.
