Our founding and growth
Erwin brings years of experience in the energy sector and IT consultancy at renowned companies such as Siemens and Accenture. In these roles, he was responsible for balancing energy networks and addressing grid congestion using techniques like Demand Response and Virtual Power Plants. Despite the technical possibilities, Erwin repeatedly encountered the limitations of existing systems in further developing and scaling these innovations.
Driven by the conviction that things could be done differently and better, he decided to co-found MeterInsight with Norbert. Norbert contributed his expertise in software development and entrepreneurship, forming a strong team together. What began as a duo has now grown into a team of five dedicated professionals ready to tackle the challenges of the energy transition.
What we do
MeterInsight offers a user-friendly platform that makes energy consumption transparent and manageable. Our key services include energy consumption monitoring, data analysis, and ESG reporting. By connecting data from smart meters, charging stations, solar panels, and other sustainable sources, we help companies improve their energy efficiency, reduce costs, and minimise their ecological footprint. Using modern cloud technologies like Microsoft Azure, we ensure scalable, future-proof solutions that align with our clients’ sustainability goals.
